Kubede David, the Kolomental hitmaker, who hails from Pru West, Zabrama in the Bono Ahafo Region released his new track on March 12, 2024 following the success of his previous song 'Jara' in early 2024 as tracks such as 'Ayo', 'Dedede' and 'Nipa Nye' are all part of his singles released back in 2021.

Besides, on a night that saw top-notch artists such as Wisa Greid, ‘Dancehall General’ Jupitar and One Corner hitmaker Patapaa smashed the stage with terrific performances, the October 18 born artist Kubede did not disappoint as the young artist excited the crowd inside the National Theater with his stagecraft.

When asked about who his favourite artists in Ghana are by sports broadcaster Ermines Onyema, Kubede replied, “I listen to them but I don’t have a favourite despite I like Kelvin Boy. My favourite artists in Nigeria are Wizkid, Victony, Davido and Reekado Banks. Among them, my role model is Wizkid.”

On the other hand, Kubede revealed that “I find it difficult to promote myself more to the masses because I’m not under a music label”.

“My future aspirations are to become successful via my career, impact upcoming artists all over the world and own a record label to support the new generation”, he told the media.

According to sports broadcaster Ermines who was present at the awards night, “Kubede is a mouthwatering talent who has the potential to hit the international stage just like the Nigerian artists”.

Meanwhile, Kubede who is an afrobeat artist is currently based in Accra though he had his basic and senior high school education at Kintampo. Kubede went ahead to make a stunning revelation that he is looking forward to collaborating with Kelvin Boy in the coming future.
