Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known widely as Shatta Wale, has opined about his future endeavours.
The singer has subtly noted that he will one day be a politician and probably the Majority Leader of Ghana’s Parliament.
The SM boss on Twitter posted a picture of himself wearing an African-made outfit, mostly known to be worn by politicians and high-profile African men.
What seems to have caused a stir is Shatta Wale’s caption, which reads, “I look like we won the elections. Majority Leader."
Meanwhile, unlike other popular Ghanaian musicians and celebrities who, at some point in the campaign period, endorsed certain candidates, the Shaxi founder has not endorsed anyone.
That act of continuous neutrality makes it difficult for Ghanaians to guess the kind of party he will join if he finally ventures into politics, whether NPP or NDC.
