Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, known popularly as Becca has disclosed her next educational plan after completing her one-year Masters degree program in Brands and Communication.
Becca stated that she is preparing to pursue her PhD soon.
The singer speaking to the Accra-based Angel FM’s Okyeame Quophi in a video shared on Instagram, during a dinner held in celebration of her achievement, disclosed that she will do a 6-year part-time program instead of the normal 4 years.
“I’m actually going to do my PhD. I need about six years to do it because I can’t do that four years thing,” she said.
The young mother and musician was named the best graduating student at the 14th congregation of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
She was again awarded as the valedictorian of the year due to her outstanding GPA of 3.92.
The multi-award-winning singer attended Wesley Girls' High School and later studied Child Care Education at Croydon College in the United Kingdom (UK).
After finishing her studies, Becca attended the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where she studied Operations and Project Management and graduated with First Class Honors.
