Akosua Pokuaa, a Gospel artiste, song writer and minister of the word has released a new single titled' Ɔbɛyɛ'.

The song is meant to encourage people struggling in life and revive those who have lost faith in God especially during these difficult times of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the 'Nishimiye ‘ singer, the good book says “Forget about the former things, do not dwell on the past."

Pokuaa quoted from Isaiah 43:18-19 which says, "See; l (God) am doing a new thing. Now it springs up! Do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

He noted that people must understand that the past may have been rough but God is doing a new thing which God has promised. "He will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think!" (Ephesians 3:20).

The 'Nishimiye' singer in a telephone interview with D.C. Kwame Kwakye of GBC Radio Central about the rational behind the song said, Covid-19 had brought a lot of untold hardships on people and as such, she is taking the opportunity to encourage everyone through the song that, irrespective of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused, God is able and He will restore what many people have lost including their livelihoods.

According to her, it is for this reason that she has released the song to encourage so many souls to have hope that God, the Mighty Oak on whom one can lean for unfailing strength, is still alive and "Will do it for you. Whatever it is if you only lean on Him," she stated.
