More Alhassan Tahiru is a doctoral student in the Department of Conflict Resolution, Human Security, and Global Governance at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. His research interests include peace and conflict studies, transnational security threats, violent extremism, human security, and international relations. He holds an MA in Peace Research and International Relations from the University of Tübingen, Germany, and an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Ankara Social Science University, Türkiye. He is a member of the Center for Alternative Politics and Security - West Africa (CAPS-WA) and the Executive Coordinator of African Network of Critical Security Scholars.
