Kade, Oct. 7 GNA - Victims of the recent floods at Kade, Adankrono and Akyem Krobo, on Friday, received relief items valued over 10,000 dollars from the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association.
It is a Spiritual and Charitable Organization based in Los Angeles, California in the USA.
The items include 75 bags of rice, 21 cartons of cooking oil, 20 cartons of Rambo soap, three bales of second hand clothing, five bags of sugar, 10 bales of polymaths and 10 bales of blankets.
Mr Samuel Amuzu, chairman of the association in Ghana, presented the items to the Kwaebibirem District Chief Executive, Mr E.R.A. Osae, at Kade.
Mr Osae thanked the organization for the gesture and used the opportunity to express his appreciation to all organizations that had offered help to the flood victims.
