
Ghana captain, John Mensah has picked up his first individual award at the 2008 African Cup of Nations.
The defender was handed the Samsung Fair-Play award after Monday evening's game against Morocco at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
Mensah led Ghana to beat the Moroccans and ensure qualification to the quarter-finals stage of the competition.
He comes next after Michael Essien, the first Ghana player to pick the award at the tournament.
