As part of its 5th Anniversary celebrations, the Modern Gospel Awards (MOGA) organized a highly successful clean-up exercise on Saturday, 19th April 2025, at Okponglo in East Legon. The initiative, held in partnership with Majesty FM, saw an impressive turnout of volunteers, including gospel creatives, media personalities, and residents of the community, all joining hands to promote cleanliness and community development.

The event began early in the morning with energetic participation from people of all ages, armed with gloves, brooms, shovels,spades,rakes,dust bins.etc. Rubbish Disposable Sites,Streets, gutters, and public spaces in and around Okponglo were thoroughly cleaned, leaving the area refreshed and spotless. The initiative not only beautified the environment but also inspired a sense of unity and civic responsibility among attendees.

Community members were so impressed by the impact of the clean-up that many called for similar exercises to be organized regularly. They expressed their appreciation to the MOGA team for choosing Okponglo as the focal point of this special anniversary outreach.

After the clean-up, all participants were treated to a well-organized refreshment session. The MOGA Awards team, their media partners, and volunteers shared moments of joy, reflection, and fellowship, celebrating both the success of the event and five years of honoring excellence in gospel music.
