Court Stops Adwoa Safo From Organising Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka’s Funeral

An Accra High Court has granted a 10-day interim injunction restraining former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo from proceeding with the funeral and burial arrangements of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
According to Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka, lawyer for the Kristo Asafo Mission, the order was granted following an application by the Mission in relation to the late industrialist's estate.
The injunction temporarily prevents Adwoa Safo from organising the funeral until the court further determines the matter.
The legal dispute stems from disagreements within the Safo family over who has the lawful authority to oversee the funeral arrangements and implement Apostle Kwadwo Safo's final wishes.
