Massage Therapists Must Get Licensed To Operate — Traditional Medicine Council

The Traditional Medicine Practice Council (TMPC) is urging practitioners in the massage therapy industry to obtain licences and provide safe services within the laws of Ghana.

The Council organised a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme for massage therapists in Accra as part of efforts to improve professionalism and standards in the growing sector.

The Acting Registrar of the Council, Dr. Yakubu Tobor Yusuf, said the training forms part of the annual requirements for licence renewal and is being conducted nationwide for the first time.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening regulation, improving service delivery and ensuring practitioners operate according to approved standards.
