Whistleblower: US watered down report of Shireen Abu Akleh’s killing

A now-retired US colonel has gone on the record accusing the former Biden administration of ignoring evidence in the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. She was shot by an Israeli soldier while reporting on a military operation in the Occupied West Bank in 2022. Investigations have determined the Palestinian-American journalist was directly targeted, despite wearing a vest identifying her as a member of the press.
