Ghana star, Kevin-Prince Boateng has finally left Sassuolo to complete his loan move to FC Barcelona.
According to reports, the transfer includes an €8 million (£7m/$9m) option to buy, while Barcelona will pay a €2m loan fee for Boateng to feature for them in the remainder of the season.
The 31-year-old only joined Sassuolo in the summer and has scored four goals in 13 Serie A outings, recently playing in a more advanced role.
His previous spell in La Liga was a successful one, Boateng scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances for Las Palmas in 2016-17 before leaving for Eintracht Frankfurt.
Boateng has also played for Hertha Berlin, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Tottenham, Portsmouth and Milan.
The experienced winger is the first Ghanaian to play for the Catalonian club.
The Ghanaian is expected to be unveiled tomorrow.
