Ghana international, Kwadwo Asamoah has reiterated that he does not regret missing the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo after joining Inter Milan.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner completed his move from Real Madrid to Juventus days after Asamoah joined the Nerazzurri on a three-year deal.
The Ghana international has settled in quickly at Inter after impressing in the side's pre-season so far and was hailed for his superb performance against English giants Chelsea in a pre-season friendly last week.
But the former Udinese star insists he has no regrets for missing the chance to feature alongside the four-time FIFA Player of the Year.
"I did not expect him to go to Juventus, but for Serie A it is positive that such a champion comes to Italy," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"I have already played him when we played Real Madrid in the Champions League and I am getting ready to give my best against him and the rest of the players in the Serie A.'
The versatile African talent is expected to be key for coach Luciano Spalletti ahead of the Serie A this season.
