Football News ANAS EXPOSE: Big Question For Ghana Football Is How It Responds Afterwards
JUN 6, 2018 LISTEN

Just some few hours to the premiere of the much-anticipated Number 12 Investigative piece by ace Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, experienced Journalist Oti Adjei has added his voice to the issue, stating that the big question after today is how Ghana football will respond.

In a short video posted on his Twitter page, the experienced sports Journalist opines that today will be the D-Day for Ghana football and how we respond after the premiere of the video will be very key going forward. According to him, there is the potential that a lot of things will change after today.

“My reckoning is that a lot of things will potentially change about where the sports is run afterwards”, he said.

He reiterates that the focal point of the video will be about the President of Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi but it is far from just an investigation between the President and the Presidency.

He believes the biggest story of this documentary will be about how sponsorship monies are managed and the clues that the documentary will provide in terms of some of the controversies in the past about agency fees and the rest.

In addition, he talks about the expose involving the referees, some of whom has already admitted to have taken monies as bribes to fix matches and have the results of matches in their pockets. He goes on to talk about the bit of Sports Authority using their outfit as a visa for cash mechanism.

The BBC correspondent also emphasized that the documentary is not just an investigation into the relationship between Nyantakyi and anybody in higher political office, rather an investigation into the rots that exist at the very hearts of the running of Ghana football.
