Former Liberty Professionals midfielder, Issah Yakubu has been voted as the best foreign player in the Lebanese Premier League for the 2017/2018 season.
The promising defender joined Al-Ahed at the start of the just-ended season and helped them to win the league title with some superb performances.
Yakubu played 20 league games and scored three goals from his defensive midfield position.
The former Inter Allies player was voted by the Lebanese Football Association as the best foreign import in the league and he took home an award and an unspecified amount of cash.
Multiple reports suggest that clubs in the Gulf region especially Qatar are said to be interested in his services.
