
Cape Coast, Aug. 19 GNA - Mr George Daniels, one time Ghana's 100 metres Olympic Games Silver Medalist died on Saturday, August 13, at Cape Coast at the age of 58.
Mr Thomas Acquah, a family spokesman told the GNA Sports at Cape Coast on Thursday that Mr Daniels, who was also a former athletics coach at the Brong Ahafo office of the National Sports Council in Sunyani, died after a short illness.
According to the family spokesman, funeral arrangements would be announced later.
Mr Daniels was among Ghana's contingent to the Olympic Games in England in 1966.
