Ghanaian Swimmmer grabs 6 medals at 2018 CAA Championship

Ghanaian swimmer Jason Jude Arthur who represented Drexel University team at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Virginia excelled in this year’s Colonial Athletics Association (CAA) Swimming and Diving Championship held over the weekend after grabbing two gold medals in the competition.

Jason participated in six events namely, 200yards freestyle relay, 200 yards individual medley,200yards medley relay,100yards backstroke, 400yards medley relay and 200yards backstroke.

He led his team to 3rd place in the 200yards medley Relay Men with a time of 1:29:01 dropping their entry time of 1:32:12

In the 200yards Individual Medley Men, he placed 2nd with a time of 1:45:99 dropping his entry time of 1:48:16.

The young led the team from Drexel University to place 3rd in the 200yards freestyle Relay Men in 1:22:75 .

In Event 26, Jason won Gold in the 100yards Backstroke Men with a time of 48:10 dropping his entry time of 49:35.

In the Men 400yards Medley Relay, Jason led his Drexel University teammate in 3rd position in 3:13:56 dropping their entry time of 3:24: 34.

Jason Jude Arthur climaxes his last event Men 200yards Backstroke with a Gold in 1:44:37 another drop of his entry time of 1:45:70.

In all Jason, Jude Arthur grabbed 2 Gold, 1 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals.

Jason J Arthur who is a member of the Ghana White Shark Club will represent Ghana at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
