Prisons Ladies have been crowned champions of the 2017 Women’s FA Cup.
Prisons Ladies defeated Police Ladies by 1-0 in the finals of the 2017 Sanford Women’s FA Cup finals played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday.
A solitary strike by Sylian Amankwah in the second minute of the game was enough as Prisons Ladies emerged victors as they toppled the Police Ladies who were champions of last year’s edition.
Prisons Ladies with this win bag the ultimate cash prize of 10,000 GHC whilst Prison Ladies walk away with 8000 GHC.
