Former Black Stars Captain Adolf Armah is appealing to the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo through the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Works and Housing, Lands Depertment as well as the Ministry of Interior and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to help him save his land at Tuba, near Krokrobote in Accra which some unknown person is building on.

According to the US based ex- Accra Hearts of Oak midfield marshal who was named second best footballer in Africa in 1979, he bought the land from the chiefs of Kokrobite and Tuba, led by Nii Ayinsah Sasraku III, and a queen (Manye) in 2014, after the former President John Dramani Mahama decided to reward all ex internationals who won the African Cup for Ghana.

The 1978 Ghana winning squad member who captained the team to qualify in Zaire under the late Fred Osam Duodu for Libya in 1982, but could not play in the ‘82 tournament because he traveled to taste professional football in Egypt, Cote d’voire, Gabon and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said it is very sad that after his toil on the field, somebody want to steal his bonafide property.

The ex- super star said the four and a half plots of land is his future legacy for his children, brothers, sisters and family, so he is appealing to the higher authorities and security agencies to intervene to retrieve his property.

Adolf Armah hinted this writer that he was informed by some close friends who went to the area and saw that his once bear land had been developed by construction of a wall and gated.

When he sent emissaries to check on the developer, he was not found, however other sources claim he used to travel abroad with the former President John Mahama of the NDC government.

He said there are some unscrupulous people in the system who are tarnishing the image of respected personalities and they must be made to face the law.

“I have decided to come back and settle at home, after many years abroad to contribute to my country’s development, and look at what someone is trying to do” RolanDanster as he is popularly called expressed.

He wondered if there is no law and order in Ghana, that some unknown person can construct a wall on somebody’s properly and legally acquired property.

Although he had been assured by one Queen that he will get back his land, he is not comfortable with the situation and needs further legal advises on what action to take.

He was the one who gave way to Maestro Abedi Ayew Pele in the Ghana National team.

He was a member of the Famous Hearts 77 team. He played for the Phobians from 1975 to 1983, he returned to coach the club briefly.

He commended organisers of the FINEST 22 Footballers and the Ghana @ 60 Football Match between the top two clubs.
