Smoking of marijuana at a Premier League venue in Ghana is considered normal, it has been alleged.
The Golden City Park in Berekum is believed to be a safe haven for weed smokers during league matches.
It has been alleged police look on unconcerned as fans smoke the banned substance in the full glare of the police.
The regular smoking of the weed reared its ugly head during a second league-tie between Glory Stars and Berekum Arsenal on Wednesday.
"It is very bad to see such incidents during football games in Ghana. And it is not going to help our football" Management member of Glory Stars Tawiah Peprah told Sunyani-based Space FM
"Fans were smoking weed at the Golden City and after reporting the incident to the Policemen their answer was it is normal here [Berekum].
"I fear for the future of Ghana Football if our security officers also show up such attitude."
