Bright Adjei became the first player to win the CNN Goal of the Week Award, as he beat Xabi Alonso and Teodorczyk to the award.
The youngster scored a superb overhead kick to put Aduana Stars in the driving seat before the hosts WAFA restored parity at Sogakope on match day 27 of the Ghana Premier League.
Bright Adjei's goal beat of competition from Bayern Munich's Xabi Alonso, Teodorczyk [Anderlecht] and Elliot Durrell [Chester], who also produced magnificent strikes in that week.
