
The Ghana Beach Soccer Association (GBSA) has appointed Dr. Martin Engmann (Former Black Stars team doctor) as the team doctor of the beach soccer national team.
According to a release from the Ghana Beach Soccer Association Dr. Engmann’s appointment comes as a major boost to the association whose reputation keeps soaring.
The release further reiterated that Dr. Engmann will serve as an advisory tool for the technical team as well as the President of the young but vibrant association on other interventions to achieve and maintain good health practices among beach soccer players.
Dr. Engmann led the medical team of the Ghana Black Stars to its maiden participation at the 2006 Mundial in Germany where Ghana reached the round of 16 phase.
Meanwhile the GBSA will soon release the names of players called to camp ahead of the AFCON Beach Soccer qualifier against Kenya next month.
