Ghana's senior female soccer team, the Black Queens, were thumped 11-0 by Germany in an international friendly that was played in Paderborn on Friday.
The match was being used by the teams to prepare for separate international tournaments.
For Ghana, the match was part of preparations for the upcoming African Women's Championships in Cameroon while the German team used it to get ready for the women's football event at the Rio Olympic Games.
The rout started in the first minute when Anja Mittag scored. She went on to grab three more goals in the 31st, 39, 42nd minutes.
D zenifer Marozsan and Alexander Popp got Germany's second and third goals respectively while an own goal from Cynthia Adobea made it 4-0 in the 26th minute.
The torment for Ghana continued in the 29th minute with a goal from Saskia Bartusiak to make it 4-0 to Germany. Sara Daebritz made it five before Mittag's hat-trick.
The home side scored again in the 66th minute and the rout was completed by Jennifer Cramer in the 90th minute.
