Ghanaian trio of Emmanuel Ofori, Michael Helegbe and Abdul Aziz Yusif helped Lebanese side AC Tripoli to reach the Group stage of the 2016 Asian Cup on Tuesday.
The trio featured in the 0-0 draw after extra-time at home against Kyrgyzstani side Alay Osh.
But Tripoli triumphed 7-6 on penalties to progress to the round-robin phase of the competition.
Defender Ofori and midfielder Helegbe all lasted 90 minutes but striker Yusif was replaced on 120 minutes.
Tripoli are in Group B alongside Al Faisaly (Saudi Arabia), Istiqlol (Tajikistan) and Iranian side Naft Al-Wasat
