Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng could take a wage cut to return to Italian Serie A club AC Milan.
The German-born Ghanaian according to his agent Federico Patorello is desperate to rejoin his former club and might take a pay cut since his contract with German Bundesliga club Schalke 04 is financially lucrative.
Federico Pastorello said on the Prince Boateng to AC Milan negotiation:
'He's obviously really desperate [to join AC Milan], but it's a complicated situation because he's contracted to Schalke until the end of the season, which is why he might remain there, bearing also in mind the fact that the contract he has is financially lucrative.
"Milan have been extraordinarily accommodating to him and I would like to thank both [general manager Adriano] Galliani and [coach Sinisa] Mihajlovic publicly for having given Prince the opportunity to train with the team, considering that at Schalke he was not permitted to train with the rest of the team.'
Kevin-Prince Boateng is currently training with the Italian club after Schalke suspended him and failed to register him due to disciplinary reasons.
The player has featured in two friendly games for AC Milan since he started training with the club with the recent fixture coming against rivals Inter Milan. Follow @kboakye92
