The Japanese is expected to complete a two-year deal with the Phobians on Monday following his arrival in the country on Sunday to join the Ghanaian giants.
However, a former management member of the club Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah has revealed the Japanese coach will earn a paltry sum which is an indication that he is not up to task.
Hearts have revealed their new coach will not cost them more than $3,000 as monthly salary. 'We have finally found a head coach. We didn't have to pay much for him,' Aziz told Accra-based Asempa FM.
'We got a good deal with Keni. He will receive an amount less than $3000.'
The 46-year-old will replace Edward Ansah, who took charge of the team in an interim basis following the dismissal of veteran Herbert Addo.
Yatsuhashi will meet the playing body this week to kick start preparations for the start of the new soccer season.
