Mauritius stop-gap coach Alain Happe has named an 18-man squad to face Ghana on Sunday in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Accra.
The Frenchman, who replaced compatriot Didier Six, has augmented his squad with five foreign-based players (Kevin Bru (England), Jonathan Bru (Portugal), Jonathan Justin (France), Andy Sophie (La Réunion) and Laurent Coralie (Australia).
The Islanders will touch down in the Ghanaian capital on Wednesday night.
Mauritius hope to cause an upset after a calamitous campaign at the just concluded 2015 COSAFA Cup tournament in South Africa.
Club M lost to 2-0 each to Zimbabwe and Namibia respectively in the Group stage but recovered to nail Seychelles 1-0.
Mauritius have never qualified for the finals of the Nations Cup and must see how to outsmart Mauritania and Rwanda in the Group.
Mauritius squad:
Goalkeepers: Kevin Jean-Louis, Christopher Casernes
Defenders: Yash Veeranah, Jonathan Bru, Laurent Coralie, Bruno Ravina, Emmanuel Vincent, Francis Rasolofonirina, Percy Buckland
Midfielders/Forwards : Kevin Bru, Christopher L’Enclume, Jonathan Édouard, Kevin Perticots, Nick Curpanen, Ludovic Lafoudre, Adrien Botlar, Jonathan Justin, Andy Sophie
