UAE-based physical trainer Omar Al Duri says he is ready to work with the Black Satellites at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup if dialed up by the Ghana Football Association.
The award winning coach was tasked to help develop the Ghana U20 physically and psychologically at the just ended African Youth Championship in Senegal and he met expectations.
It was the first time the junior national team was benefiting from the services of a fitness coach and it looks like the trend will continue.
Al Duri has returned to the Gulf and sounds ready to join Ghana's backroom staff for the tournament in New Zealand this May.
He exclusively told GHANASoccernet.com: “Having returned back to Dubai, you never know what the future holds. As the Ghanaians say ” KUNFA YE KUNUU”.“
Ghana will face Argentina, Panama and Austria at the tournament.
Head coach Sellas Tetteh has listed a provisional squad of 35 players which will be pruned to 21 for the tournament.
