Dreams FC is congratulating Black Satellites pair Seidu Mutawakilu and Benjamin Tetteh for making it into the Black Satellites squad for the upcoming Africa Youth championships in Senegal.
The duo who are proud products of the club (Dreams FC) will compete for places in the squad for selection during the AYC tournament which kicks off in Senegal on Sunday March 8, 2015.
Goalkeeper Mutawakilu who now plays for Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak is the likely candidate for the goalkeeping position having showed consistency and class in the last three years.
Muta as affectionately refereed called, joined Hearts this season from Dreams FC on the back of some delightful displays for the youth team of League Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko that shot him into fame.
Benjamin Tetteh is a budding talent who is on the radar of several European clubs including German side Borussia Monchenglabach and Spanish Champions Atletico Madrid. He is a striker with accurate shooting and great team character who can either play as a striker or winger.
The management of Dreams FC wishes the two players the best in the tournament and it is our hope that they will excel at the competition and win the nation another AYC title, a trophy that has eluded Ghana for six years.
The Black Satellites last won the title in 2009 in Rwanda under the tutelage of Coach Sillas Tetteh. Ghana is paired in the same group with South Africa, Mali and Zambia.
