Champions Asante Kotoko have announced signing for Ghana Premier League goal king Emmanuel Clottey.
After weeks of denials, the club finally announced on Tuesday reaching an agreement with the former Berekum Chelsea player.
Clottey's name was forwarded to the Ghana Football Association before the second transfer window shut last Thursday.
But his registration is pending due to the late issuance of his International Transfer Certificate from Tunisia.
The 2012 Champions League top scorer with 12 goals had his contract with Esperance terminated and joins the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer.
He will also bolster their striking force for the 2015 CAF Champions League.
Kotoko have had a sluggish start in the league as they lie seventh on the table with 8 points after six matches.
