
The second leg matches of the Elite cup competition took place across the country on Wednesday, on some Division One clubs have qualified to the next stage of the Elite Clubs Cup competition
Utrecht who were held 1-1 at home by Galaxy FC, sealed their qualification after beating their hosts in the return encounter played at the Tamale Stadium.
At the Sunyani Coronation park, Techiman City who won 2-1 at home against Bofoakwa managed a 2-2 draw away to confirm their qualification to the next stage.
Other results in matches played across the country saw Berlin FC, Asokwa Deportivo, Wassaman, Metro FC, Ajax , Sporting Mirren, Mighty Jet and Pure Joy all making it into the next round of the newly created competition.
Mighty Jets had to win 5-4 on penalties before sealing qualification after both legs of their match with Faipoint ended goalless.
At the Tarkwa T&A park, the match between KFC Samosa and Tarkwa United ended abruptly.
Three matches were not played in this round of the competition as a result the inability of some clubs to turn up for their games.
