West Africa Football Academy FC have notified the Ghana Premier League Board of their intention to play their home matches at Sogakope.
WAFA – formerly Fetteh Feyenoord – have acquired the defunct Red Bull Academy and are now switching their base to the Volta Regional town of Sogakope.
The facilities at Sogakope are considered superior to that of Fetteh – resulting in the decision of the academy to make the witch.
The Premier League Board will however tour the facilities at Sogakope to see if its meets their requirements before it is passed as one of the venues to host Premier League matches.
WAFA secured a return to the Ghanaian top flight following their excellent run in the promotional Division One Middle League playoffs.
