
Bechem United defender Emmanuel Atta-Nyamaa Asante has landed in Italy to undergo trials with Italian Serie A side Atalanta, MTNFootball.com has reported.
The 18-year-old has two-weeks prove his mettle in Bergamo, Lombardy to earn a permanent deal.
Atalanta are still in pre-season ahead of the start of the Serie A on 30 August and head coach Stefano Colantuono has some time to monitor him.
The left-back has experience after featuring for the local Black Stars during the 2013 WAFU Nations Cup in Kumasi and the Ghana U20 team.
Atalanta have one Ghanaian player- Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who has hit a rich vein of scoring form in the off-season- in their books for the upcoming campaign.
