The award-winning company, which is Ghana's first ever sports tourism outfit, has been adjudged the best company in the Sports Tourism Sector for 2013.
The enviable award was conferred on African Origin by the Ghana Tourism Authority during the National Tourism Awards for 2013.
The professional manner in which the company's officials treat their clients helped it to win the top award.
Furthermore, the effectiveness its packages to clients among others was also a contributory factor.
African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism, without doubt, is a pacesetter in the sports tourism industry in the country.
The company had countless successes which made it a household name in Ghana as far as sports tourism was concerned.
African Origin was the GFA's accredited and authorized travel and hospitality partner for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
In both instances, the company ferried hundreds of Ghanaian fans to Germany and South Africa respectively without a hitch.
It also took fans to the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, Angola, South Africa, and Equatorial Guinea/Gabon with success.
African Origin also flew scores of Ghanaians to London in 2012 to witness the Olympic Games without blemish.
Mr. Deen, an entrepreneur, is also the owner of Metro FM (94.1) which is making waves in Kumasi.
