Former Asante Kotoko defender, Michael Ofosu-Appiah says he is enjoying life in the Latvia playing for top flight hotshots, Skonto Riga so much he is looking ahead to more successes in the European country.
Ofosu Appiah is smarting from just winning the Winter Cup with Skonto and with his side well placed in the league to challenge for the ultimate, the Ghanaian says he is experiencing the best football of his career.
“I like it here very much because I am regular here and they treat me like a king,” Ofosu Appiah told All Sports Ghana exclusively from his Riga base.
More so, Ofosu-Appiah is hoping his success-laden Skonto career can trigger a call-up from national team trainer, Kwesi Appiah as the countdown to Brazil 2014 gets ever closer.
He is so confident he can add a lot to an already very rich Black Stars side should he get the nod.

The former Ashantigold, Heart of Lions and Asante Kotoko midfielder joined Skonto at the beginning of this season from South Africa PSL side, Jomo Cosmos.
