Kumasi Asante Kotoko Public Relations Officer in charge of Northern sector, Kwame Owusu Ansah has pleaded with the rank and file of the club to remain united and resolute for the cause of the club. This, he said, is the only way Kotoko would rediscover the magic that made them the monarchs of African soccer in the 70s and 80s.
This plea was made when he was caught up by Space Fm immediately after arrival from European tour. He said even though, the trip was a private one, he took the opportunity to conduct a lot of businesses in the interest of Kotoko. However, he did not disclose details of the deals as he needed to brief the Board and the CEO first.
On the appointment of Major Rtd. Yaw Ampene Larson as the CEO, he said the Board was right in the choice of the veteran football administrator since he possesses all what it takes to lead the club to the dream land. “Kotoko has starved for continental success for the past decade and it is about time all the fans supported the new CEO to win trophies for the team”, he stressed. He called on the supporters to register in their numbers for the champions league match against Asec in Abidjan.
