Juventus loanee Richmond Boakye-Yiadom came off the bench to rescue a point Elche FC as they shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Almeria in the Spanish La Liga on Friday night.
Boakye, 20, replaced Spanish international Manu on the 63rd minute mark and he made huge statement of intent in the La Liga scoring in the 5th minute of second-half staoppage-time.
The Ghanaian international forward completed his loan switch from Italian giants Juventus on Thursday and took part of just two training sessions with the Los Franjiverdes.
But Elche manager Fran Escribá, satisfied with the goal-poacher's brimming energy and confidence named him on his bench and he brought him on with 23 minutes of normal time left for play, he rescued a point for the newly-promoted side.
