The Ghana U20 defender was introduced to the spectators at half-time during the club's 2-1 win over Elfsborg at the Friends Arena in the Allsvenskan.
The New Edubiase United left-back signed a three-and-a-half year deal on Friday after completing a medical.
Ofori was a member of the Ghana squad which won bronze at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Turkey.
He is expected to play his first match on Tuesday against Manchester United in a friendly.
