OUTSPOKEN COACH Isaac 'Opeele' Boateng doesn't support Michael Essien's decision to quit Chelsea of England for Real Madrid of Spain.
The national trainer said the pressure at Real Madrid would be too huge for Essien who is recovering from a long layoff due to injury.
Coach Opeele said he doesn't doubt Essien's ability but he fears a big club like Real Madrid would not give him the time he needs to recover fully.
The former Kotoko trainer observed that Real Madrid supporters are too demanding and they usually don't give players enough time to gel.
Coach Opeele said he has seen Real Madrid fans booing at their players on a bad day.
He observed that this behavior of the Real Madrid fans may force Essien to go beyond his limit during games, which could be dangerous for him.
Coach Opeele said having stayed off the pitch for a long time, he wished Essien had joined a club which was a bit small where the demand won't be too much.
Since Essien had already left Chelsea for Real Madrid, Coach Opeele wished him well and prayed for an injury-free spell for the player at the Spanish club.
