
Accra, July 4, GNA – Ghana will play host to Egypt and Namibia in a three nation U-20 tournament from July 8 to July 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to a release from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) copied to GNA Sports, the tournament is to gauge the preparations of the three teams ahead of the qualifier for the 2013 African Youth Championship later this month.
Originally, the four-day tourney was fixed for Sekondi but was relocated to the national capital upon further consideration by the organizers.
Hosts Ghana will open their campaign against Namibia on July 8 before the latter squares up with Egypt four days later.
The Black Satellites will draw up the curtain on the tournament against Egypt on Thursday, July 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Ghanaians are due to face Uganda at the next stage of the qualifiers later this month.
