Goran Stevanovic's debut achieved the result he had wanted as Ghana strolled past neighbours, Togo, 4-1 in an Antwerp friendly Tuesday night.
The new Black Stars coach says he was happy with his team's play as he craves for such performances in the future.
Dominic Adiyiah, Jonathan Mensah and Samuel Inkoom all scored their debut senior goals to mark a great start to a busy footballing campaign for the national team.
"I am happy with the result but more pleased with the way my team played today. Scoring four goals was a good result for us and I am satisfied," the Ghana coach said in the post game interview.
Stevanovic handed Sulley Muntari a starting role and stuck to most regulars of the side with the game serving as a build up towards the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying with an away game against Congo coming up later in March.
Africa's top-ranked side, Ghana, drew first blood through Dominic Adiyiah after 10 minutes as the Black Stars headed into the break 1-0 up.
But the Hawks leveled the scoring from a spot kick three minutes into the start of the second half.
Substitute Jonathan Mensah scored when he headed in to restore Ghana's lead in the 60th minute.
Nine minutes later, Ghana were coasting to a handsome win as Togo defender, Akpakpo, under pressure from Kwadwo Asamoah bundled the ball into his own goal.
Second half substitute Samuel Inkoom sealed the game for Ghana when he scored the fourth goal.
