KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko is working tirelessly behind the scenes to give a fresh three or four-year permanent deal to loan player, weeks before the stoppers contract at the club expires.

The player of Gomoa Fetteh Feynord, who is in his second year successive loan stint with the Porcupine Warriors, will have his loan contract come to an end after the current season.

A source hinted DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that the move was to avert a possible fierce contest with other clubs for the signature of the Black Stars left fullback; a situation which could rocket the players value.

The player, who was previously unknown, has impressed greatly since joining the Kumasi based club two years ago and this is said to have shot up Kotoko's interest in signing him.

A source told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that Kotoko officials have so far made their intentions known to Feynord Club, but so far talks are going on quiet positively.

However, he noted that, no deal has so far been reached between the two parties, adding, that officials of both clubs were also keeping mute about the possible monetary terms that will be involved. From I.F. Joe Awuah Jnr., Kumasi
