The demise of GHAPOHA football club has opened the gates for premiership clubs to poach players for the new season. Players of the relegated Tema-based club are relentlessly seeking new jobs with clubs in the premiership league.
Defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak were the first to officially express interest in the services of GHAPOHA fc’s captain, Alex Awuah even before the season came to an end.
According to a management source in GHAPOHA, the club would be considering Hearts’ proposal now that they find themselves in the lower division, which the player would not like to be part of.
Another GHAPOHA fc player, Amui Quaye has expressed his desire to join the Phobia club -Hearts.
Amui who is being blamed by the management and fans of the Tema club for contributing to their woes after attracting a red card in their play-off game against Power fc might be allowed to leave.
Other players making efforts to get into the fold of the Phobia club are Desmond Amoah from Accra Great Olympics and Nii Darko-Ankrah from Dawu Youngsters.
Both of them are former Hearts of Oak players.
