George 'Red Tiger' Ashie last Friday exhibited great boxing prowess in the ongoing 'Last Warrior II' boxing reality show with a second straight knockout this time over Odarlai 'Eagle Eye' Lamptey.

The fight staged at the forecourt of Radio Gold was the most dramatic of the evening's bill as Ashie had come from a surprise first round knockdown to win the fight.

Moments after Ashie had visited the canvas, the fans thought Lamptey was on his way to causing a major upset. But it was short-lived.

Ashie got back on his feet and braved through the first round. He put the pieces together in the second round and delivered crisp jabbing which caught Lamptey off-guard.

Half-way through the round, Lamptey was dazed and he fell on the canvas after a rally of combining hooks to his face.

Oko Laryea stopped last-minute replacement, Peter Musa in round four of their clash. Musa replaced Albert Mensah who chickened out at the last-minute.

It was an atonement for Laryea who lost his first bout to Odarlai Lamptey through a unanimous decision.

Charles 'Innocent' Tetteh slipped for the second time after losing on an unanimous points decision to Martin Ahiadekey.

Tetteh had earlier lost by a painful second round knockout to George Ashie on the first night and needed to salvage his image.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports after the fights, the promoter, Coach Oko Odamtten, said the third night has been very exciting.

“From what I have seen here tonight, it looks like we would be seeing more knockouts as this show progresses. I like the way the excitement is increasing with time.

This is exactly what the show stands for and of course quality boxing,” he said.

The show continues at the same venue on Friday. This Last Warrior II is a television boxing reality show which is a Deep Focus Productions concept and is sponsored by Kasapa.

Supporting sponsors are Bacchus Energy drink, TT Brothers Limited, Baron Distilleries, AB's Royal Hotel, Mobile Water Garri Gbix and TV3.
