Sam Yeboah joins Hapoel Tel Aviv

Israeli giants Hapoel Tel Aviv have announced the signing of Ghana striker Samuel Yeboah.

The 21-year-old signed a five-year contract with the south-west coast club.

Yeboah sealed the deal from rivals Hapoel Kfar Saba.

The forward has been attracting interest from clubs in Israel after impressing in his two-year stay with the Kfar Saba club.

Yeboah scored 34 goals in 81 appearances for the club.

Former Ghana captain C.K Akonnor has made a move back to Germany in the Fifth Division League.

The 34-year-old has signed a one year contract with the lower division club SC Langenhagen.

Langenhagen is not far from Wolfsburg, the then Bundesliga club Akonnor played for for seven years.

Apart from playing for the club, Akunnor will work with football agent Uwe Kathmann as he eyes football management career after retirement.

Akonnor returns to Germany after a one-year spell in Cyprus with ALKI Larnaca.

He also played for German clubs Fortuna Cologne and Unterhaching before travelling to Denmark to play for Horsens.

Another former international Christian Gyan has joined Finnish side Turun Palloseura after a successful trial.

The 29-year-old defender signed a six-month contract and will get a permanent deal if he impresses in his short stay at the club.

Gyan has struggled to get a club after being released by Dutch club Excelsior Rotterdam last year.

The defender surprisingly retired from the national team in 2002 after playing just 23 matches for the Black Stars.

He made his move to Europe by joining Dutch giants Feyenoord after excelling at the U-17 World Cup in Ecuador in 1995, helping the Black Starlets to win the title.

Gyan won the Uefa Cup title with Feyenoord in 2002.
