Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side have the quality to overcome Aduana FC when the two teams meet in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Yellow and Mauve outfit will host the Dormaa-based club at the TNA Park in Tarkwa in a Matchday Eight fixture as they seek to return to winning ways.
Medeama suffered their first defeat of the 2026/27 campaign last weekend, losing 2-1 to FC Samartex at the DUN’s Park to end their unbeaten start to the season.
However, Tanko remains confident in his squad’s ability to compete with Aduana and believes a well-planned strategy will be crucial to securing all three points at home.
“I think we also have good players like them, so definitely, we are going to map out our strategy, with the hope that we’ll get our three points here,” he said.
Despite last weekend’s setback, Medeama remain firmly in the title race, sitting third in the league standings with 14 points from seven matches.
The defending champions have also been impressive in front of goal, scoring 13 times — the highest tally in the division so far this season.
Tanko will hope his side can translate that attacking strength into another victory on Sunday as they look to maintain their challenge for the league title.
Kick-off for the game is scheduled at 15:00 GMT.
