Ghana midfielder Kwasi Sibo is expected to return to action for Libyan side Al-Swehly when they host Tunisia's Espérance Sportive de Tunis in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
Sibo, who joined Al-Swehly during the summer transfer window, missed the first round of the competition but is expected to be available for the crucial tie.
The first leg will kick off at 17:00 GMT, with the return fixture scheduled for Saturday, 24 October in Tunisia.
Al-Swehly will be hoping to secure a positive result at home to strengthen their chances of reaching the group stage of the 2026-27 CAF Champions League.
Sibo's experience is expected to be valuable as the Libyan club seek to overcome the Tunisian giants and secure a place among Africa's leading club sides.
The former Real Oviedo midfielder could also be in contention for a return to Ghana's Black Stars squad for their upcoming double-header against Somalia in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana are scheduled to face Somalia at the Accra Sports Stadium as they look to revive their qualifying campaign after losing their opening two matches against Côte d'Ivoire and The Gambia.
