Ghana's Black Meteors will face Libya in the second qualifying round of the TotalEnergies CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2027.
The two sides will meet over two legs between 9 and 17 November 2026, with Ghana travelling to Libya for the first leg before hosting the North Africans in the return fixture.
Libya advanced to the second round after beating Togo 4-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round.
The Libyans drew 1-1 in Lomé before securing a convincing 3-0 victory in the second leg at home to complete the tie.
Ghana, meanwhile, received a bye into the second qualifying round and will begin their campaign against Libya.
The Black Meteors must eliminate Libya over the two legs to reach the final qualifying round, where they would face either Equatorial Guinea or Niger.
The final qualifying round is scheduled to take place between 22 and 30 March 2027.
The three-round qualifying process will determine the seven teams that join hosts Egypt at the eight-team U-23 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
The tournament will also provide a pathway to the 2028 Olympic Games, giving Ghana an opportunity to end a long wait for a return to the men's Olympic football tournament.
The Black Meteors last appeared at the Olympics at the 2004 Athens Games, where Ghana reached the quarter-finals.
