The father of Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, Jacob Teye Partey, has died.
Jacob Teye Partey reportedly passed away on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
Thomas Partey, who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Shabab, has not yet publicly commented on his father's death.
The 33-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a distinguished club career and remains a key figure for the Ghana national team.
Funeral and burial arrangements have not yet been announced by the family.
The Ghanaian football community is expected to offer its condolences and support to Partey and his family as they mourn their loss.
