Ghana Rugby represented at 17th AGM of Rugby Africa in Kampala, Uganda

Ghana made its presence felt at the 17th Annual General Meeting of Rugby Africa, held in Kampala, with Ms. Rafatu Inusah leading the country’s delegation.

Ms. Inusah, President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union, attended the General Assembly in her official capacity, accompanied by board member Mr. Emmanuel Kalos.

The gathering brought together rugby administrators and delegates from across the continent to deliberate on the future of the sport in Africa.

A major highlight of the meeting was the adoption of a new constitution aimed at strengthening governance structures, enhancing gender inclusivity, and fostering greater unity among African rugby nations.

The reforms are expected to usher in a new chapter for the continental governing body and its member unions, including Ghana, as they work collectively to raise standards and expand the game’s footprint.

Reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to the sport’s development, Ms. Inusah stressed the importance of collaboration in shaping rugby’s future on the continent.

“We remain committed to playing our part in growing the game and building a stronger future for rugby across Africa. Long live Africa Rugby,” she said.
